Heartbreak is always bitter, never sweet..

Today I have been pondering the meaning of life.. Why people come along and make us feel safe and at home.. Why those very same people break your heart and leave never saying two words to you again. That person who you felt so safe with for so long, that person who says they'll always be there for you no matter what just say "Your better off without me. I never should have led you on in the first place." Why do people have to be so mean and hateful like that? Why does life have to be so mean and hateful like that?
